Fan art not showing while browsing

Hi there,

I have had an issue with my fanart for a while. I use BMT to fetch it. The web interface shows all the art fine. I can see the art in my userData/Pheonix/FanArt folder. The FanArt manager in Gemstone shows the files. However, when I browse various views I don't always see the fanart. I would say about 5-10% of the fan art actually shows.

Any ideas?

Try wiping out and recreating the fanart cache? it's in utilities -> Image options

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, it didn't change anything. I got the same exact results after the prebuild completed.

I poked around some though, and did discover some more info.

There is something failing when Gemstone tries to render certain images.

I can use the fanart manager to pick new default banners, posters, backgrounds, etc. Some of the picks work and some don't. I have to keep trying new options until one renders. I don't know why some images work and some don't.

Do you have any guesses here?

I discovered some more info.

As stated previously, if I continue to manually pick image from the Fanart Manager one of those image will eventually work. After I get at least one image to show up all of the other images will work as well, even images that didn't work before. I have to manually do this for each movie/tv listing.

I got through about 200 or so of my movies and then my server hard locked. After rebooting, all of the fanart suddenly was working. Even the movie/tv listing s that I didn't fix by hand.

Sadly, all new movies that I have recorded since the server reboot fail to work. Even the manual trick I described above doesn't fix them. These new recordings show the images in the Fanart Manager, however none of the default image choices show up in the views.

Any more guesses?

I'm having the same issue as well and have not been able to find a fix. Using default Sage UI. The cover art shows in BMT, but when browsing movies, it just shows the default random clip.
