Maximum setting for Java heap size in 64-bit

Rebuilding my server with 64-bit Windows 7, with 8 gigs of ram. Now that I've got more than sufficient ram headroom for any 32-bit java process, what's the highest setting I can give the java heap size and give it as much as it could ever use? Thanks.

1024 Doesn't matter how much ram you add that is all Sage will use.

Sage runs 32-bit Java and 32 bit applications are limited to 2GB of memory per process. You can play around with the heap, and might be able to get it above 1GB, but there's some overhead that means that you'll never get all the way to 2GB, and often won't get much above 1GB.
