Idea On Why Arcsoft Codec Stopped Working?
Does anyone have any ideas on why the Arcsoft TMT 5 codec would just stop working after months and months and maybe years of working fine?
Win7 32, ASVid.ax and MPEG, H264, VC1 DLL's in their own folder. checkactivate.dll in there as well. Registered in DirectShow. Last night, everything was fine, today playing an HDPVR file starts fine, then the video freezes, but the audio continues, then everything just stops. MPEG2 files play fine. When I go to stop playback of the h.264 .ts file, the Sage UI is laggy. Nothing has changed, as I only use comp for Sage. The last changes would have been MS Update and Java about a week ago. Everything was still fine until today. The MS Codec works fine, but now I just want to chase down this mystery. Thanks all, LONG LIVE SAGE! (Thanks Jeff! = Guide Data)
