Error Sageex-api download
When trying to download plugins it fails downloading the Sagex-api from Github. Lots of plugins depend on this and they are all failing.

You can still find the sagex-api here:

is on googlecode, however there was a warning while ago that google was going to shut down the googlecode server, so yes all plugin developers should move all their plugins elsewhere otherwise it will be a disaster...

I'm currently using the SageTV FTP server "download2.sagetv.com" which should be pretty safe for now until all SageTV servers will be down (it might never happen).

Yeah the problem is that the plugins will not Install... no big deal for now since my main server is ok. I was just reloading Sage on my test machine from scratch and the plugins will not even Install.

Shows that it was updated today (plugin details).

Wonder if it is a timing issue. Stuckless moving it away from googlecode but the new manifest hasn't hit the servers yet?

I wonder if the problem is related to using ssl/https for the download link. I've never seen a sageTV plugin that downloads using https.

Today's release was my first release using github to host the files (since google code no longer will host files).

I'm not 100% sure what is going on, but I'll try to have this resolved today.

Was able to update sageex-api via the plugin system.

Looks like you got whatever the issue was fixed
