Anybody using the Ceton Infinitv 6 PCIe? ($229 Newegg)

Saw this on newegg today for $229 ($70 off). Does anyone have this working with SageDCT? I am currently running two HDHR Primes and could lease one less cablecard with this unit.

Also, any thoughts on the advantages of PCIe vs. ethernet? Having the tuner internally cuts your network traffic down and can avoid some glitches. I have a WMC7 machine as my backup DVR with a Ceton PCIe 4 and I never see any major "green blocks" or other glitches.

One more thing, anyone interested in the upcoming HDTC4-CC (HDHR4-CC)?

I guess I'll reply to my own post. I bought the Ceton InfiniTV 6 PCIe and got it working today during the big ice storm. Installation was easy. Took a cable card out of one of my two HDHR Primes and used it in the Ceton and all channels came in. Called Verizon to re-pair the card with the new hardware.

SageDCT 2.6 is great - deleted a HDHR Prime and generated new assignments with the Ceton. Kept the 2nd HDHR Prime on-line in case the Ceton didn't work, but all 6 channels working! I am not convinced 100% that the Verizon tech did her job because Ceton diagnostics are still indicating that a CCV signal needs to be sent to the cablecard.

I used the HDHR Primes for a couple of years now and for the most part they worked extremely well. Did get occasional green blocks / glitches when recording multiple shows or watching on multiple extenders. I took a lot of measures to ensure the network, buffering and everything was optimal, but I do believe that an internal (PCIe) tuner will be less prone to glitches. (Never saw any issues with my WMC/Ceton 4 setup).

I still have two HDHR's for OTA channels via antenna and a Ceton InfiniTV 4 in another PC running WMC. Going to take the 2nd HDHR Prime off-line soon and sell 2 HDHR Primes on ebay and return 1 cablecard to Verizon.

Been with SageTV for over 3 years now and still believe it is the best option out there, especially with FIOS. Gone from DirecTV STB's and 2 HD-PVRs to FIOS with STBs, to cable cards using both Ceton and Silicondust products. Was extremely fortunate to get enough HD300's for all locations. Not looking forward to the prospect of having to go to WMC and Xbox 360's / Ceton Echos if copy-freely goes away - hopefully won't have to go there.
