Client can't connect to server

My PC recently suffered a melt down and I had to re-install Win 7-64 from scratch (backup failed). I have SageTv installed again, but it can't see the server. I have all the Firewalls disabled etc., but still no joy. My other Client and my media extender still work fine. I can also ping the server from my PC and nothing has changed on the server.

The only hiccup I had was getting my Home Group to work again. I probably created the Home Group on this PC, so Windows was unhappy about joining an existing group. I finally recreated the group and it seems to work OK now.

But I still can't get my Client to see the server. I'm starting to suffer serious withdrawal after all this time, so any help would be appreciated.

Did the IP Address on the server change by any chance?

No, the IP did not change. My other clients see it fine.

I'm wondering if it's some kind of license issue, but I've uninstalled and re installed the client several times.

Thanks.

If you are using the Client license in more than 1 Client PC only the first client that connected will connect... and continue to connect. Maybe you used the same client license on 2 machines..by accident.

I'm starting to wonder if my client & server are the same version. I will have to check what version the server is running.
