Marking a Show as Watched

Hi,

I finally switched off of the MC2XML plugin for EPG data. There is a warning that

HTML Code:
If you decide to stop using the mc2xml plugin please be aware
that when you switch back to the Sage EPG service that you might
end up recording shows that you've already recorded. This is because
some shows use a zero padded show ID with mc2xml and those
leading zeros are stripped by the Sage EPG service. Since the
show IDs aren't identical, Sage will not consider those airings
recorded when you switch EPG services. This is more inconvenient
than anything, but it is something to be aware of.
I am wondering, I can see the show being recorded in the future and I can mark it as watched. Will this prevent it from being recorded?

Thanks,
John

Yes once you load the default SageTV Guide you can mark shows watched.
