HDHR PRime, SageDCT, and Sage v6?

Hi all,

Over the weekend Comcast put the screws to me and encrypted all their channels so my HDHR won't get any channels anymore. I've been reading that I can go to an HDHR Prime with a cablecard and use SageDCT along with Sage to get my channels back.

The thing is, I'm still running Sage v6.6.2.218. I never had a reason/need to upgrade to v7 and at this point I don't have a license key for a v7 upgrade, and even if I did I don't know where to get the v7 software to install.

Will the HDHR Prime/Cablecard/SageDCT work with Sage v6, or am I hosed? If I'm hosed does anyone know where I can get a v7 upgrade license key (for Windows) and the v7 software?

I really hope it's not my time to retire my Sage box.

Well, I found the post where I can get the modified exe's to change the v7 upgrade from trial to permanent, so that's great. Oh, and before I finished this reply I just found downloads for 7.1.9 of Sage. Is that the latest? If so, I guess I'm all set with regards to the Sage app.

If that's all I need I guess I'll get myself an HDHR Prime and talk to Comcast about getting a cable card.

Simple upgrade - and well worth it... go to 7.1.9 (the lastest and last)

Your v6 key will work fine on v7 for licensing.
