HDCP NBA League Pass on Directv?

I am thinking of ordering NBA League Pass on Directv. Does anyone know if these channels are some of the "premium" channels, like HBO, that are turning on HDCP and degrading component resolution with component out? I would hate to order it and then find that my HDPVRs can't record them or can only record very low resolution versions.
