Comskip not finding programs to process
I've been using comskip with my SageTV V7 for several months now and am having an unusual problem with the commercial detections. When the programs are processed, comskip does a good job of finding the commercials but the problem is that the programs are not all processed. Some programs are processed while others are not. There is no pattern to which programs are processed and which are not. How does the integrated comskip determine which programs are to be processed? I'm having a lot of programs left unprocessed.

I have comskip installed and when I go to detailed setup, customize, there is an entry for comskip playback options. I thought this was part of sagetv, but I guess it's not. This is where I'm confused, I don't see anything that starts the commercial processing. Should I have DIRMON installed?

That is comskip playback you need to Install something to run comksip. Commercial detector in the above post is good.

I'm having problems with commercial detector. It isn't automatically working anymore. No changes to commercial detector plugin. I can manually queue from plugin config. The only update I know of recently is with web ui. I'd like to get back working properly.

Turn debugging level to "Trace" in the CommercialDetector setup, turn on logging in Sage and post a logfile. I am on vacation and may not get to it immediately, but I will look at the logfiles. You are also better off posting in the CommercialDetector thread
