M4V file audio track order

So I have a few M4V files that have a stereo track first and a 5.1 track second. Sage always plays the stereo track. My preamp gives it Dolby Pro Logic II, so I sort of get surround.

I know the 5.1 track exists and works. I have used VLC to play the files and can choose the second track and I get true discreet 5.1.

So how do I get Sage to always use the 5.1 track, or move the 5.1 track to the number 1 slot?

the enter button on remote brings up screen - on right side: "audio language"

to my knowledge it's always a manual selection. If you want these files to do double-duty in an Apple envorinment (ipod - ipad) the stereo track has to be first when encoded. You can encode the AC3 track first in Handbrake, but then you'd get NO audio in the Apple platform (although Apple TV may be different)

Thanks. I don't know why I didn't know about audio language.

I may re-encode, since I don't use the files on anything but PC.
