Track Order

Any reason why I'm seeing my MP3s listed in alphabetical order in the library? The Id3v1 tag has the track numbers and the physical file names are in the format of 00 Track.mp3 .... they are also playing in alphabetical order now too...not very nice when I've ripped an entire album.

Help?

Now my tracks are getting time added to them for no aparent reason. I've deleted my Win.bin and Wiz.bak and reimported the library and everything came back into the library in alphabetical order, playing in alphabetical order, and adding time to the tracks, almost doubling the original track time. Any ideas?

There's probably something wrong with the software you're using to tag the MP3 files. Try a different tagging software and see if that works.

I tried a different tagging program and it helped the track ordering problem, but the track times are still wrong. I'm not sure how Sage determines how long a track is, but Winamp and Media Player play them for the correct track times.

Are you using VBR mp3's? I've seen Winamp give me weird times with VBR. Does Sage play the file correctly?

Nope, I specifically chose not to create these MP3s as VBRs. VBR evil.
