directv genie

I had the the directv genie and 3 clients installed about 3 months ago. I de-installed sage at the time. Well I have added sage back to the mix to add placeshifting and to add tv to a new room using a sagetv client. With an asus vivo smarttab, openvpn, verizon 4g, att uverse 1meg up connection and sagetv; I now have placeshifting cabability that works great. My current system is a much smaller system using an old athlon x2 4200 with 2gig of ram, 2tb harddrive and Windows 7 32bit. Currently using a hd pvr and serial tuning connected to C31-700 rvu client. In the process of adding a second hd pvr. Due to the location of the second C31, I will be trying a component /stereo over cat5 device to get the source to the hd pvr. I have serial channel change working by using usb over cat 5 devices and a paterson device. I attempted http tuning , but was unable to get it to work with the C31 clients. To work with the smart tab , the C31 client output signal has to be limited to 720p, 1080 causes stutter. Reviews on the tablet indicated this HD playback limitation.

Just throwing this out there for genie users that may want to add some sagetv.
