I installed the prime and now have hdpvr, original HDHR from silicon dust and the prime.
I have WMC and Sage installed on same computer. Silicondust took all tuners to WMC - now I have oodles of recording conflicts in Sage -- not ready to switch yet. My plan was WMC for prime and other two tuners for Sage - is this possible? Am I missing something? I went back to add tuner in Sage and the HDHR's weren't an option (or prime for that matter). My main application is set to sagetv. My only thought is to uninstall the HDHR completely, install old drivers (set prime aside). |

In short, you need to reassign your tuners in WMC and SageDCT accordingly. You can't assign all three to each.

reassign tuners
I didn't see where I could reassign the tuners in WMC. In short I uninstalled the PRIME and installed the original HDHR drivers and SAGE was able to pick up the original Clear QAM channels again from that tuner.
For now, I've unplugged the PRIME. I think I'm going to spin up a VM test machine rather than risk changes to SAGE production. |
