SAGEDCT / HyperV / Bridging / Virtual Win7 - No worky

OK, Pretty confident *I* have mucked it up somehow... just don't know where.

For the past 2-3 years I have been running sageTV ON my 2008r2 server. Sage has become flakey so I am looking to move to a new install.

Here's what I've done so far:
  1. Updated my Ceton Card to the latest firmware (I was on 1.0.3.4 and the current version is 1.1.7.2) and latest drivers
  2. Updated SageDCT to the current x64 version .. I was running a VERY old 32bit version
  3. Put my Ceton Card and my nic into a bridge.
All that said and done-

The SageTV install *on* the 2008r2 server broke but I fixed that it's running ok now.

My Virtual Windows7 install doesn't work. on it I have installed the Ceton Drivers - which appear to be working (it finds the card and lets of green checkboxes)

I installed SageDCT - Which also appears to be working? (the service is running, it discovered my ceton, and I generated the encoder stuff... etc.)

but when I tune in stations i get 'no signal'

SageDCT is running as local service on both my 2008r2 server (which has the Ceton in it) and on my virtual windows 7 box.

is that it? I'm hoping to move my install over to the virtual win 7 machine and uninstall it from the 2008r2 host server.

As always any wisdom is appreciated!

as long as you 2008r2 has the video source for the virtual win 7 in the sagetv.properties file correct then it should not matter that there are two SageDCT instances (btw there are reasons to have two - I do...)
