Struggling to understand how to play Netflix and Hulu on SageTV

I been searching all over the forums but still struggling to understand how does one play Netflix or Hulu in SageTV?

I installed Gemstone and Playon but nothing shows up there not even a Playon in the menu until I switch to SageTV default menu and it will appear in there but I get error trying to play Netflix

Is there something else I have to install how does Playon knows my Netflix/Hulu account to download the movies or to stream from it?

Or is there a plugin I need to install to be able to get the movies from Netflix or Hulu acccount.

I watched the video instruction but it not clear to me maybe because I am Deaf and there a narrative in in the video background that explains it all that I am missing out.

Can anyone help me get Netflix and Hulu working in SageTV if it will allow subtitles or closed captioning?

You need to have playon installed on your Sage Server. Open playon settings. Click the channels tab and input your username and password. Check other settings. You may have to uninstall and reinstall playon plugin in Sagetv. Hope this helps.

Ahhh. Playon is an stand alone software! Not sagetv plugin

But don't see it on gemstone menu so once I install playon then should show up on gemstone menu or I have to toggle it on?

I dont use Gemstone but generally you need to install playon on your server and configure then download the playon on plugin for sagetv. You should now be able to access playon content through sagetv.

You have to add menu customizations like the Playon menu to the Gemstone menu using the menu manager copy mode. There are several posts on how to do this as well as some instructions in the ADM wiki.
