New client install doesn't like NVDVD

Sigh --

I just installed Windows XP on my client box (again!) and reinstalled Sage and my codecs. Before the new install, I was using NVDVD 3.0, which I liked. But now, Sage gives me video and audio rendering errors whenever those codecs are selected. The Cyberlink codecs work fine. NVDVD works fine flying solo, and Windows Media Player uses the NVDVD codec if I launch a DVD in WMP. I'd really prefer the NVidia codecs, so any assistance you could provide would be appreciated.

There was talk on AVSForums that certain versions of the beta 3.0 decoders don't work with applications other than Media Player. ZoomPlayer is actually using a trick to fool them. Not that it helps any, but interesting info anyway .

I hadn't heard that, it's interesting. But it was working just dandy before the install. Weird.

Did you install NVDVD 2.55 before installing NVDVD 3.0? It also seems to look for a previous registered version before it can work with other apps.
