Anyway, I do have the NAS working now, but installing v6, setup the shares, and then updating to v7.

Thanks for all the suggestions and feedback. I'm sure there will be more questions to come.
So that at least narrows it down to the browsing part that isn't working in v7, once the folder is set, you have access, just can't browse for it to set it?

One thing I noticed was that for each type of NAS drive, the information had to be entered differently. For example my Western Digital Drive had to be shared as an IP address, not a drive letter. Format was something like this...
Please note your IP address will not be the same.

\\192.168.0.142\public\SageSpace....

The word Public had to be added due to the way that the WD drive was setup, so I just live with it. I had a PogoPlug Drive which could be shared as a drive letter or an IP address for whatever reason but it died so I cannot list it as an example. It may have been a normal vnc path, though, such as...

\\ServerComputer\sharedspace\

Hope any of that is helpful. It was really tough typing in numbers for the Drive, I recall, so hopefully you only have to do that once.

I also use the router to reserve the IP address of the NAS drives to make life less complicated.

I had reserved the IP address of the NAS in the router from day 1.

I do have it working. The secret was from a post here which led me to change the user credentials for the NAS. Once I did that, all was well.

I am still amazed at how much help one can receive from these forums. Without this and other ones I would be nowhere near where I am with my systems.

So to all of you -- Thank you very much.

No, I realized that I had changed the logon for the sage service. Once I put it back to what it was supposed to be all was good again.
