is there a "season pass" tivo like function?

I just downloaded the trial versino and am fairly happy with it....I am working on the wife approval factor right now and so far I haven't found a way to record all the episodes of a show. is there a way to do this?

I see where I can select the upcoming episodes but not have it automagically record all shows.

You need to add a show as a Favorite. You can then set the Favorite properties to record all, new, or only reruns.

I have both a Tivo and Sage setup. For all purposes, Sage's "Favorite" is the same thing as Tivo's "Season Pass". There's even a "Manage Favorites" screen(under Schedule Recordings) that functions like Tivo's season pass manager. You can move them up or down the list to change their priority just like Tivo. Although I do think Sage has a better ability to finetune what shows are recorded using Favorites. ie You can limit recording to one channel(Tivo style) or any channel(Sage's default).
