Menus won't open any default recording views (even after restoring defaults)

OK, so I was setting up my menus on my placeshifter.

I exported the settings from the placeshifter and then imported them into the client (hoping to make everything the same).

This worked all well and good except now NONE of my default recording views will open. I tried to fix this by importing a backup that I had but it didn't fix the menus. When I click on them (in my extender) nothing happens.

I've also cleared all client Gemstone settings AND I used the menu manager to reset the menus to defaults. Nothing is working.

Is there a way to clear everything from my extender? Either that, or get the import to work?

Ok, I restored a backup of the properties file for my extender from here:

C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\clients

But I'm still wondering what would've gone wrong. Any ideas? What's the best way to move settings from one machine to another.

Did you export only menus or other settings as well?

The best way is using the export but it does seem your export was corrupted but a load of default menus should have fixed it.

The release we are working on right now does improve import/export between server based UI and clients.
