I am constantly amazed at how insecure some of this remaining community is. The EPG isn't going away and even if it does slugger has that covered.

I personally rely on the same darn EPG data for my SageTV setup as everyone else here. While I am scheduled to get Google Fiber TV (which I believe uses the same EPG data) at my loft apt sometime summer next year I have zero fear of losing the EPG. Not sure what else I can say to make everyone believe me

PS: My take on the "Jeff won't commit beyond ####": He can't commit beyond what Google has a contract for. If it is ever going away there are several people who will know in advance - one of those people would be slugger. Jeff is on your side guys whether you want to believe it or not.
