PC reboots when Extenders connect to server

PC reboots when Extenders connect to server

I started having a weird problem last night - I couldn't get Sage extenders to connect. When I looked into it a little more it appears that when I tried to connect to my server with an Extender my whole PC would reboot - no BSOD just a hard reboot. The server was also very unstable, crashing at other times.

I suspected a bad system hard drive (this system had a Mushkin 60 GB SSD). I had an extra OCZ Vertex2 sitting around so I restored an image from two days earlier to this drive. So far (3 hours) it is working OK.

Has anyone else seen anything similar?

New Server - Sage9 on unRAID 2xHD-PVR, HDHR for OTA
Old Server - Sage7 on Win7Pro-i660CPU with 4.6TB, HD-PVR, HDHR OTA, HVR-1850 OTA
Clients - 2xHD-300, 8xHD-200 Extenders, Client+2xPlaceshifter and a WHS which acts as a backup Sage server
