HD200 and HD300, latest firmware?
What exactly is the preferred firmware version (beta or not) to be running on these two devices? Could someone provide a link to this latest, desired firmware for each of these units? I'd like to do a USB flash drive update if need be.

I recently upgraded some - you should be able to see what the latest is by trying to update the firmware and see what is says.

Wayner, in my experience, updating the firmware (from the device update options) does not necessarily update to the latest beta firmware, so I was hoping to get some Sage forum user input on what is currently considered the best firmware and where the download is for the latest firmware, so that it could be done via usb flash drive (per my original post).

On my HD-200 the lates firmware is shown as 20100909 0

As you mentioned, you have to manually install it, and the easiest way is to install the firmware from a usb drive after renaming the files to "stp300.bin" and "stp300.ver". The HD300 manual explains how to do a manual firmware install. Hope this helps.

Thank you, trk. I believe that I have the latest beta firmware on my HD300, which may be newer than the one you mention. I'll have to check that when I can.
