Optional weather background install cycles?

Just installed Gemstone upgrade on test system and working well.

On installing the weather backgrounds, the install keeps cycling from my HD300.

It completes download and install 1 and 2 packages then for some reason starts again.

I have had 3 gos now and no weather backgrounds or plugin in the installed list

I think the weather package is just images and there isn't a plugin loaded on top of the Gemstone.xml file. Just install the optional weather BGs once on the server and then on each HD300 turn the backgrounds on from the weather config.

If I have that wrong jusjoken will correct

That worked.

Only issue now is that each time I fire up an extender, it defaults on weather location. When I update weather its fine.

It simply starts with null-like weather. How do I make this autoupdate?

Try changing the weather provider or location for each extender and then change it back. Hopefully that will force the setting for that extender.

If that does not work then open a issue on the issues site and describe the issue.
