Hard Drive Fail, Clean up Wiz.bin

So I lost a drive that had a bunch of my ripped movies on it. Most of the movies I probably won't watch again anyways, but they are all listed in Sage. I want to let Sage know that the files are no longer there, but not sure how much of the folder structure I need to replicate as empty.

The files were stored in //Server/Movies/HD/MovieName/MovieName.mkv. Do I need to add every MovieName folder into the folder structure for Sage to remove them automatically? Or can I just create a folder called /Movies/HD/ on the server and Sage will remove them?

Is there an alternate way to get Sage to remove all of these now orphaned files?

I believe that if //Server/Movies/HD is the import directory as specified in Sage, you just have to recreate that one. Sage will scan it, realize that the movies are no longer there, and remove them from the wiz.bin.

This is from memory, not from recent use, so perhaps someone else can also confirm.

Thanks Matt

Thats what I assumed as well, I'll test it out and confirm. Shouldn't hurt to try that.

Adding back the import directory, //Server/Movies/HD, with no other folders and it removed all of those files from sage.
