Oops, I was semi-hijacking the thread. I've a client using the new mobile AMD chip, and everything is fine except the VC-1 .mkv files.

I HAVE to be able to watch Serenity and Watchmen in HD.

Ah. Well then. I also use TMT5 decoders without issue. MPC decoders work just fine if the sage splitter is disabled. This is for VC-1 in particular.

Well, something didn't work. I see the codecs, but when I they them, I get the following:

MPEG2 - Video shudders
MPEG4 - No Video, timeline moves backwards
VC-1 - SageTV tries to play the video, then exits back to the video selection screen.

Any guesses what I did wrong. This is a Windows 7 64x machine.

Disable the internal splitter, then you may have to put all of your vc-1 files into an mkv container. That is the only way I got reliable vc-1 playback.
