Hauppauge HD PVR - Can I change the audio encoder settings?
I'm having problems with audio encoding with certain recordings. The audio is raspy on certain recordings. It only seems to affect certain recordings. Most are fine.
The problems seems to be the bitrate that the audio encoders use. If I could just use a little higher bitrate, they would probably be okay. If I could use uncompressed audio, that would of course work too. I don't care what software I need to use to do this. It does not have to be done in Sage. Does anyone know how to get at the settings for the audio?

Have you tried changing the quality settings in Sage for your HD-PVR recordings? What quality are you currently using for recordings? Best - H.264?
