SageTV 6 -- hardware support question
Hey Guys,
I missed the boat on SageTV7, but my HDPVR is giving me trouble. Does anyone know if the Hauppauge Colossus and the Hauppauge Dual Cable Card Tuner (wintv-dcr-2650) work in SageTV 6.6? I dont want to buy them and have to deal with returns if they dont work. Thanks, Gary

The boat is still waiting for you. Narflex made special executables that allow free upgrades from version 5 or 6 of Sage to version 7.

People who are not following this forum closely seem to be unaware of the free version 7 upgrade, and have a hard time finding the thread listed above without help from other forum members. Any chance an additional link to that forum thread could be added to the bottom of the sagetv.com homepage, maybe the link could say something like "Important information regarding upgrades from version 5/6 to version 7"?
Or, we could just continue to deal with new forum postings every 1-2 weeks asking a question similar to the one posted at the beginning of this thread.
