Could this be a H300 alternative
Running as a client this could be a replacement for the now unavailable HD300 ?

It looks a little expensive (> $300).

Being Tegra based, it won't run Client, so it won't be an extender replacement anymore than any of the other myriad of media streamers that can play Sage recordings.

The reason there won't be a SageTV client on Tegra or any platform other than what exists today is people seem to forget that the closed end of SageTV is dead. If Jeff and opted to share the protocol for extenders when I asked (still requiring a license), you guys might be in a better shape. I could put an NextPVR client on it, the Tegra2 just is kind of lackluster, which is why the Boxee Box dropped it. The Tegra3 would not be a bad target although probably pricey.
The dev/board hobby board I have got hopes for is the Cubox I think it will make a nice client http://www.solid-run.com/mw/index.ph..._specification and I have even ordered one for tinkering around with. Martin |
