Bluray folder - what do I have to enter in MyMovies DB?
Hi,
sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it in the forum: I have ripped a few Blurays recently (folder structure, not ISO) and copied them to my WHS. While these Blurays play fine on my HD300 using SageTV's basic functionality, I don't seem to be able to play them through the SMM UI (error message: "No SageID found to play for this movie. Please check that your import paths match on SageTV and MyMovies. (...)" I assume the reason for this is that I haven't entered the path in the MyMovies DB correctly. I tried entering the path the same way I usually do for my DVDs, for example \\Servername\Videos\Blurays\Avatar\BDMV\STREAM However, this doesn't seem to work in SMM. I also tried entering the file name of the movie file directly, for example \\Servername\Videos\Blurays\Avatar\BDMV\STREAM\00002.m2ts Unfortunately this also doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions how I can play my Blurays through the SMM UI? Thanks. Cheers, teq |

Back when I was ripping my blu-rays to BDMV structure (I now use makeMKV), I would just put the folder in my generic "BLURAY" folder on my unraid server. Then I'd just point MyMovies Collection Manager to the BLURAY folder on my unraid tower. All was well after that. If MyMovies didn't pick up the folder for whatever reason using folder monitoring, I'd just do an import of the folder "..../tower/video/bluray" on mine and it'd pull in the movie(s) that I had recently ripped.
Also, I've found that sometimes when I got to changing things (I re-did all of my movies that were in BDMV structure to .mkv because there was some weirdness with my extenders doing BDMV for whatever reason while mkv is fine), I would go into the Sage MyMovies API and re-build the database. This would do away with the path error exception that I'd get (same error as what you are getting). Donno if that helps, just what I did when I had a problem similar to yours. |

\Servername\Videos\Blurays
This is the path that should be shared in Windows, defined as a Sage import directory and used as the path in MM Folder Monitoring. If you don't use Folder Monitoring then \Servername\Videos\Blurays\Movie is the path you manually enter in each movie entry of MM. S |
