Duplicate Entries (network share and drive letter)
I am having an issue, where i switched the location of my import directory for TV shows from a mapped drive letter to network share. now i have 2 entries for all my tv shows.
I had them imported as recordings as well. Is there any way to clean this up? I did try removing all import directories and then re scanning then re-adding them but that doesn't help. |

Something you can try... is to remove the imports. Then tell sagetv to look for new/update media... you shoud now have nothing... then add the import folder back, and tell sagetv to look for new/updated media (it think it's called a library refresh). I do this quite a bit in development, and this is the process I use, to ensure that I don't get phantom entries.

Stuckless,
I checked and I actually don't have any of those paths as my import directories anymore. I believe I had tried the remove/re-add before with no luck. The entries are still there somehow even after library refresh. I didn't see library refresh, i did re-scan Imported Media, that's the right thing correct? |

For the default STV go to Setup -> Detailed Setup -> Advanced -> Rescan Existing Library Files.

This has happened to me before and Sean's solution + shutting down the service and restarting it clears it up.

Unfortunately neither method has worked.
None of the paths are in my media import area, i have done both the rescan media library as well as the rescan existing library files (per will) additionally I also restarted the service between each method and still I have 2 entries for each episode with the following value under location in BMT: \\VALHALLA\TV Archiving\Flight of the Conchords\Season 1\Flight of the Conchords S01E01.mkv X:\Flight of the Conchords\Season 1\Flight of the Conchords S01E01.mkv I am going to try and remove the actual drive map of X (which corresponds to \VALHALLA\TV Archiving\) and then rescan Any other thoughts? |

Just an update, removing the drive map helped in that i no longer have duplicates. however I now only have a few random episodes pointing to the network share location. I am going to change the share name and re-scan then see if i have a clean slate

Final update, removing the drive map as well as renaming the network share then rescanning removed all entries.
I then added a new drive map and included that as my import directory and all is well. Thanks for all the suggestions! |
