Assign Remote Keys to Views
How do I assign a Remote Keystroke to take me directly to a view?
i.e. I would like the "MyDVDs" key to take me to the "MovieWall" view Thanks in advance. |

I don't have a MyDVDs key on any of my remotes.
There will be a way to map Sage Commands (which presumably you have set up a mapping of MyDVDs to some sage command) to phoenix actions, but it's not fully supported yet.

Correct - I have set mappings between remote keys (i.e. MCE remote) and SageTV) using the SageTV keyboard IR command mapping functionality
However, by default, SageTV automatically mapped all the standard keys to SageTV commands when you picked a type of IR remote: "MyDVDs" -> "Videos" "MyTV" -> "Recorded TV" "MyMusic" -> "Music" "LiveTV" -> "Live TV" "GreenButton" -> "Home" SageMC also supported the same standard mappings and allowed the assignment of "global" keyboard shortcuts -- when you specified the XML for custom menus you could also specify the keyboard command (which you could invoke from an IR remote using the IR remote mapping) |
