Sage V7 not recognizing multiple tuners?
I have a Sage V7 system on Win 7 32-bit. I have 3 Hauppauge HD-PVR connected to it, and all 3 are configured in Sagetv. All 3 are set to component input and are changing channel with FWChannelProxy#, via FireWire.
My question is, does Sage actually recognize and utilize multiple capture devices? I have a Show that is set on Monday 2:00pm and a show on Monday 3:00pm, and sage told me there is a conflict. But, with 3 tuners, there shouldn't be a conflct. So, what gives? Do I need to do something special so that all 3 tuners can be used at different times? Hmmm, bit more info. I originally scheduled the shows with the web client, and that seems to be what drove the conflict. Later, I went in through the regular client and re-scheduled the errant show, and it seems to have taken. So, maybe the web client doesn't recognize/understand how many / what types of capture devices are available?? Last edited by mgpaulus; 08-19-2011 at 09:17 PM. |

Do u have the same channel lineup setup on all 3 tuners? Also search the forums for hdpvr. I recall several threads at various times over the past few years about the hdpvr and getting more than one to work correctly, etc.
As for the web ui question, that is def not the case. I have 7 tuners and schedule recordings via the webui and mobile webui all the time without issue or conflict.. |

When you go to the conflict resolution screen, what did it show in the timeline display it was conflicting with?

I don't know if this applies to you, but if you are using padding you will always need 1 more tuner than the total number of shows you are recording back to back or on different channels.
Perhaps web client was putting padding on for you without you knowing about it.
