HD300 just stopped: No LED lights

I have thoroughly enjoyed my HD300. Last night I was about to watch a movie when with no warning it just stopped. There were no lights. It looked like it was unplugged. When I put my ear next to it there is a faint "buzzing" like a hard drive makes when it is under stress. I tried the factory reset command, with no results.

I am unsure what the problem is. Could this be related to the power supply? That is the easiest component to replace.

Thanks,

Perhaps it locked up. Try letting it sit unplugged from everything for a few hours then plug it back in with just the power cable attached and wait 60 seconds. If it is working properly it will show a strong blue light (not purplish).

If that doesn't work then I would try to find a different power supply (if you have another HD300 in the house try using that power supply).

And its back on. Apparently it did just need to be unplugged for a while. Thanks all!

Might be overheating. Make sure it's well ventilated.
