Samsung Cable STB
Is anyone using a Samsung (SMT-C5320) STB with Sage?
I am currenty useing DTV boxes and all is geat untill a strom rolls through... So, I am going to convert to cable since I already have it, just not hooked to sage. Anyway my real question is how to change the channels, can it be done vis network, firewire or do I need to use IR? I realize this may be a bad time to change, Google and all, but I got the STB's for free for 2yrs. so why not? Any suggestions? Thanks Skybolt Last edited by Skybolt; 08-11-2011 at 11:29 AM. I have a TimeWarner Samsung SMT-3262 going in to Sage via an HD-PVR, component video. USB UIRT for tuning. Has worked well.
The main TV here has a Samsung STB + DVR. Essentially the same as above, but with a 500GB disk and different firmware. |
