New Hauppauge CableCard Tuner for pre-order, shipping this month! $129 for dual tuner

Just wanted to let ppl know hauppauge has a 2 tuner cablecard tuner out, $129 for friends of facebook pre-order.

Please note: WinTV-DCR-2650 shipments will start the week of July 28.

Its USB external, win7 only (of course).

Seems like they just cut SD's knees off for the price.

Once a program is recorded (I assume it will be encrypted), can it be expired?

And the Xbox360 is the only extender for WMC7 ?

If SageDCT - its only unencrypted copy freely channels
If WMC - its encrypted wtv (but all channels available)

yes the xbox360 is the only current extender

Just got word that they had a manufacturing problem with the plastic case and that these would be shipping aug 22nd.
