Worked fine yesterday...
Sage won't play live TV today. It appears to start fine, but seems to be paused when I click "Watch Now." Black screen, no sound. In the status bar on the bottom of the screen that appears momentarily when I left-click, I see the universal symbol for 'pause', along with an ever-growing green bar that (I think) shows that the show is being recorded. But no amount of control-S or control-D can coax it out of pause and into Play. The weird thing is that it worked just fine yesterday, and I haven't monkeyed with anything.
Any suggestions? |

Have you tried the normal stuff? Turning 3D on and off, different decoders etc? Something may have become corrupt.

Turning 3d acceleration on and then back off did the trick. Wacky!

I have seen that happen after I have run a DX9 game or program. Is this a dedicated HTPC?

I'm getting the same exact thing. I'm running an avermedia m150 using the s-video inputs. I know the card works because it works with dscaler. But for some reason it's only worked once in sage. I've tried nvdvd, sonic, and elecard decoders. dvd and avi playback is flawless. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the card, sage, drivers. Nothing. I just tried turning on and off the 3d and that didn't do anything.
Thanks, Jared |
