HDHR issues?
A day or two before the Google announcement, my HD-PVR suddenly stopped being recognized by Windows. The power light comes on strong, then fades, and it shows up in Device Manager as "Unknown Device" (I tried it on another PC, too, that had never had it installed/connected).
Thinking this was a great opportunity to rid myself of this device (let's face it, if there's a problem with a Sage recording, it's always the HD-PVR that's frozen up...) and get the new Colossus. However, that required an upgrade to the latest RC for 7.1. I did that, and got everything working again for my two capture card sources (Colossus and HVR-1850). Unfortunately, my OTA stations (served up by an HDHR that's been rock solid since the day I installed it) are now showing up with pixelation and stuttering. I can connect to it using QuickTV on my server and see the same thing, but if I connect from my PC, it works great. So the problem isn't the HDHR - it's either Sage or something on the server that was impacted by the installation of the Colossus. Any suggestions? I kind of doubt it's really a Sage problem, since I didn't find any similar issues reported recently, but perhaps a setting I need to change? A codec issue (this is an area I'm a bit fuzzy on)?

Did u try updating the hdhr drivers to the most recent beta drivers? Try that if you haven't and try rescanning with the hdhr utility.

I'd put the latest out there (3/23) but went ahead and tried the beta (5/29) with the same results.

At 1 time I had to change the Ethernet cables that came with the HDHOMERUNS because of no signal and poor signals... Maybe you should try another cable if you have some laying around.

It normally lives in my master bedroom closet, where all my wiring terminates. To make sure it wasn't a signal degradation issue, I moved it upstairs and hooked it directly up to the antenna/amplifier via a coax cable dangling from the attic door, and plugged it into a nearby port (using a different cable). And it still behaves poorly from the server, but flawlessly from my other PC (as it always used to on the server).
