Minimum Memory Requirement for Diamond

I have installed Diamond a couple of times and love the interface.

I am interested in moving to 3.30 and am running 7.1.8 at present.

I had memory issues with Diamond via my HD300 extenders previously hence the uninstalls (currently running the stock V7 UI without issues).

I only have a 2Gb Memory Intel Atom based windows home server with Mymovies and Phoenix core services the only memory-based services alongside the SageTV server.

All playback is via extenders and all tuners are external.

Is 2Gb enough to run Diamond without lag or slowdown on up to 5 extenders?

Thanks

Yes. You just need to make sure that you have the java heap set as high as practical. I have 4 extenders and use WHS with the java heap set at 896. I have had all extenders running in addition to 2 x PC clients without an issue.

Will try that; last time I moved from 512 (for default UI) to 1024 which killed the response on the system.
