How much PC memory for Diamond?

I had a working system running on the Serenity Theme at 7.0.15 of SageTV with MyMovies fully functional on 5 extenders (3 HD300s and 2HD200s).

I have switched to Diamond 3.2 which looks fantastic and disables MyMovies in favour of the Moviewall from diamond; the clipart is updated and looking perfect.

All extenders are running the latest (non-beta) firmware.

All caching of clipart is done successfully; generally it is working well but, I am getting Out of Memory errors (x20) each day and, the moviewall sometimes times out at the spinning dial indefinitely. Responsiveness from the TV Guide and in tuning into TV is also noticably slower.

The Java JVM is set to 768Mb as my Windows Home Server has 2Gb of memory. On the system the only other noticable memory hog is MyMovies software and AnyDVD.

Am I doing something wrong? Is anybody else getting memory issues with Diamond?

What you are seeing is a bug in the current build that has been fixed for the next release.

Use smm with diamond is about all you can do or stay away from poster view.

Also, I think turning off the info fade option (see attached) stoped the memory error from happening and allows you to use the wall still. I did this for awhile until the error was fixed in one of our test builds.

I have my system setup for 1gb of Java heap. I get this memory error a lot, but it doesn't seem to have much affect on the actual performance of my system the way my family uses it.

Glad to hear it is fixed for the next version. Great work.
