Well, I'd prefer to use my Harmony remotes, so I just need to get an IR receiver. It seems like I pretty much have to get a MCE remote (with IR receiver), though.

I came pretty close to getting one of the Fusion boxes, but now I'm leaning towards waiting a while and seeing if the PCH A-400 is any good. Syabas doesn't have a great track record with some things (namely, PGS subtitles and other firmware bugs), but on the surface it looks promising. The Android/iOS controller apps look pretty interest too. You can control the box from your phone/tablet, including viewing your video catalog and selecting something to play.

IR receivers from Twisted Melon work fine with Harmony remotes...

I spent a few hours and came up with a good start for something similar that works in the default STV. UnZip the attached manifest into the install directory of your Sage server and then install the Thumbnail Navigator UI Mod.

Tmiranda, tried it and it works well, thanks! Here are a few suggestions for refinements.

Right now it only works if you hit enter, then press up. Any way you could have it turn on after only pressing up?

If you keep watching, then turn on the thumbnails again, it doesn't bring you to the current time. The Phoenix UI also has a line on the progress bar showing you how far that thumbnail is.

It tries to create thumbnails for movies but seems to fail. Live tv creates a single thumbnail.

Let me know if you need more testing.

1. Already on the "to do" list.
2. Wrote that code already, just needs testing.
3. Have not tried movies yet or LiveTV, only recorded TV. I'll get this ironed out when I can.

I created a new thread in the customizations area, please post there in the future.
