HDPVR, RNG110, IRBlaster, Recording channel change problem.

On another thread I reported success with setting up the HDPVR with Comcast RNG110 box using the IRBlaster. Well, I spoke too soon!

When I scheduled Sage to record a particular channel, a different channel was selected and recorded. I've just seen this on one channel so far (BBCA on channel 162 records a local channel 7).

To test this, I did several things:

1) I selected an adjacent channel (B) to watch and verified that the channel had changed correctly. Then I selected the desired channel (A) to watch and verified it had changed correctly. From that I concluded that the system was able to change live viewing to the problem channel correctly if asked.

2) Next, I went back to B, viewed it, and then asked to record A via the program guide. The system selected a third channel (C) rather than the correct channel A.

3) Then I removed recording from A and repeated steps 1 and 2 again with the same result.

4) Then I tried steps 1 and 2 with a different pair of channels and the channels changed correctly.

Assuming that the HDPVR doesn't know whether it's changing channels for live viewing or recording, I have to conclude that it's a problem with SageTV. Anyone have an idea what it could be, and where to look?

I have an OTA receiver as a second source. Could those two sources be conflicting somehow?
