MyTV for Diamond UI Mod 3.3+

There is now a Diamond 3.X compatible version of Bialio's MyTV in the plugin repository. Not sure how this will fit in with the future of Diamond but will at least get you up and running if you previously used the My TV for V7. This version has been updated to fit the Diamond themes.

Please make sure that you uninstall the old version as it is not compatible with our menu mod before installing the refreshed Diamond Version.

It is listed as "MyTV for Diamond UI Mod 3.3+" in the UI Mod repository.

Cheers,

Team Diamond

Thanks, but how do we go about the uninstall/install process if we have the MyTV fix .stvi from last release. I just now noticed that when I went to uninstall the MyTV plugin, there is no option to uninstall (or even disable for that matter). Do I just need to stop the service and manually delete the STV7.mytv.0.2.stvi and restart the service? Will that properly uninstall it? Thanks.

Try installing the original version and then uninstalling it to make sure it's removed. Sorry, the temporary copying over of the stvi I posted was probably not a good method, at least the updated plugin for Diamond can be installed and uninstalled via the plugin repository.

That should work or manually remove the stvi. The plugin method of sage will not remove a fille if it was modified after install I believe.

Well, as I mentioned, I don't get any option to uninstall MyTV from either the Client of an Extender. So, I stopped the Sage service, deleted the stvi, and restarted the service. Sage gave me an error telling me that a plugin file was missing. And, when I go into the Plugin Manager, is says that MyTV is still installed. When I click on it, I still get no options to uninstall or remove. Any suggestions?

You may be able to stop the service open the server properties file and find the line loading the original MyTV stvi and then remove it to stop the loading error.

Also, just to clarify you need to uninstall from the Plugins/Installed Plugins section on the server. The uninstall/disable options do not show in the all available plugin section after it is installed.

Jorton, thanks for the 'slap in the face'. Sorry to cause all this confusion. I was trying to uninstall the plugin from the 'All Available Plugins' section (I didn't realize you couldn't do that there). Once I uninstalled from the installed plugin list, all was well. Although, I do notice that the "STV7.mytv.0.2.stvi" still exists in the STVs/SageTV7 folder. But everything seams to working as expected, so I will just leave well enough alone. Thanks for the sanity check and sorry for the confusion.

As Plucky mentioned the uninstall won't remove altered plugin files, so you can delete the left over stvi once you have completed the uninstall process.

Glad to hear your up and working.

Jeremy

Thank you!

This looks and works great.

I would love to see the option to add even more current recording to the list at some point if the mood ever strikes you.
