Best way to share metadata/fanart on 2 Sage instances?

I currently have 2 SageTV Servers, sharing the same storage for Video files.

I had the idea of having one server doing all the metadata/fanart grabbing. It writes the properties files of each movie. And for the fanart I have a central shared folder with the images.

Now my question is, on the second instance, Sage isnt grabbing the updated .properties for the video files. Do i need to actually touch the timestamps so the rescan gets the updated .properties files ? (The idea is just to lookup only on one instance, and the other just to grab automaticlly the correct info)

Or im doing the wrong approach for my situation??

I believe that the .properties files are meaningless to BMT...

Why are you running 2 servers? Are you saying you have 2 separate wiz.bins too?

Not meaningless to sage the core will write those properties files, but if the files are added before they exist you need to set the propery on the server to reindex (can't remember the name of hand) and restart the server.

sage will only read the .properties when a file is imported or if the file's timestamp changes.
