Multiple lines in properties file

I just installed BMT and started renaming my TV series filenames to (Show Title - S##E## - Episode Title) and everything works great. But the resulting properties file has multiple lines for ACTOR & GENRE. For each actor or genre it creates a second tag-line...What am I doing wrong?

EX.

Actor=Thomas Gibson -- Aaron 'Hotch' Hotchner

Actor=Thomas Gibson -- Aaron 'Hotch' Hotchner;Shemar Moore -- Derek Morgan

Actor=Thomas Gibson -- Aaron 'Hotch' Hotchner;Shemar Moore -- Derek Morgan;Matthew Gray Gubler -- Dr Spencer Reid

Actor=Thomas Gibson -- Aaron 'Hotch' Hotchner;Shemar Moore -- Derek Morgan;Matthew Gray Gubler -- Dr Spencer Reid;Joe Mantegna -- David Rossi

You are doing everything right. The multiple lines are not causing any issues, so I wouldn't really worry about it. SageTV writes the properties everything I set a new value. In the case of genres and actors they are lists, so everytime I add new genre or actor to the list, a new line gets added by sagetv. This is normal, and nothing to be alarmed about.

When the properties are read back in by sagetv, it retains the last value for the last property that is read, so there's no risk of losing data, and there's nothing I can do about it since all the writing of properties is handled by sagetv and not bmt.

Good to know.
Also a shout out to you for this plugin. Saves me a ton of time and makes it very easy to find everybody's favorite episodes...
