Sage shipping times to Canada
Anybody hae any experience with how long it takes to get a Sage extender shipped to Canada these days. I order one two weeks ago - it was shipped on Apr 5. I can see on the tracking details that it entered Canada on April 10 but I still haven't received it. And I am in Toronto so it is not like I am hard to find.

Its probably held up in customs. This is a common problem with items coming into Canada. Its not that Canada Post cant find you. Once Customs clears the item it gets released to Canada Post for delivery.

I've ordered 3 extenders now (100, 200, & 300) and they all took at least a couple of weeks to get here. Mine has always shipped USPS which means 1 pay an extra $20 at the door for customs/duty charges, but I've never noticed how long it gets hung up at the border. I suspect that you'll get it this upcomming week.
I don't think you'll get a tracking # once it enters Canada... so, it probably entered Canada via BC and now it's making its way across country. BTW, I'm in Lonon (just down the road from you)

Here is my USPS shipping info from my HD300 last October. About two weeks, but I am on Vancouver Island so it may take a bit longer going accross Canada after Customs like Stuckless said.
Isn't it Murphy's Law that usually about the time you start to question when it will arrive it comes the next day Shipment Activity Location Date & Time -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Delivered Abroad CANADA 10/22/10 4:48pm Out of Foreign Customs CANADA 10/20/10 1:23pm Into Foreign Customs CANADA 10/18/10 11:29am Arrived Abroad CANADA 10/18/10 11:29am International Dispatch ISC LOS ANGELES CA (USPS) 10/15/10 12:54am Arrival Electronic Shipping Info Recieved 10/09/10 Last edited by jorton; 04-16-2011 at 08:39 AM. |

It's funny that someone sent me a second hand HD100 from Israel, through regular post and it took about the same time...
It went from the MISSISSAUGA custom review, straight to "Item out for delivery" 5 days later, without the Ontario --> Quebec itinerary...

Unfortunately that ploy didn't work since it didn't show up today.

I too notice long shipping times to Kelowna, BC, most of the package time spent "in customs". I typically see 3 weeks from order to delivery with usually 10 days sitting "in customs". Makes me wonder if Sage does not properly document the shipment for CCA.
And my other gripe is $23USD shipping for a single wireless USB adapter!!! |
