I htink BMT thinks I'm Italian

Several movies have Italian posters, including Do the Right Thing, Whatever Works, Being There, Bridget Jones' Diary etc. Is there a language settings somewhere?

I noticed the same thing with the Criminal Minds poster saying "Esprits Criminels" on it tonight as well

So it is not just me. It's not exactly "My TiVo thinks I'm Gay" (not that there's anything wrong with that) but it is a wee bit annoying.

You'll have to change them manually. Click the poster icon on the editor page of BMT. You'll get a window where you can choose from usually quite a few different posters.

Differentiating the languages within images I believe is a challenge. If you don't like any of the posters add your own to the central fanart folder for the movie you'd like and then change it within BMT.

if the source is tvdb.. is the language setting under configuration/tvdb set to "en" or whatever language you would like?

BMT forces "en" for TMDb and it uses the language code as defined in the configuration for tvdb (default "en"). In every case that I've checked, it's a problem with the tvdb/tmdb in that users are uploaded non-english posters to the main area instead of uploading them to a language specific area. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do, since i don't have the technology or stills to parse images to determine what langauge it might be in
