How do I get poster images to update?

I've used BMT to clean-up some of my poster images (some were in a foreign language by default), and BMT now shows them correctly, but they still show up as the old images in Sage with Diamond (when I'm looking in Videos/Movies, Wall Flow, List Flow, etc).

I selected Diamond under the Detailed setup menu and deleted and re-cached all the fanart, but this didn't fix it. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

If you have deleted and then recached and still see the wrong poster you might need to delete the ones you don't like in BMT and or set the default poster for it to stick. Then delete / recache the again using the Diamond Fanart.

I did set the correct default posters in BMT. They show correctly in BMT. Wouldn't that then carry through to Sage/Diamond? Is that a potential bug?

I didn't know/notice that you even could delete alternative posters in BMT, but I will go give it a shot if there's no alternative. That would be a real pain though as BMT is going to show the correct poster now so I'm going to have to look through Sage to find which ones are still wrong and go back and forth. I already went through and fixed all the wrong posters in BMT, and there was a lot of them.

Keep in mind that as you try to resolve this that you do not need to delete the entire cache within Diamond to test it out... go to one that is displaying incorrectly and press DELETE and then select the option to delete the fanart for that video item only. It then reloads nearly immediately.

Today when I booted up all the posters are correct. Looks like Sage/Diamond just needed some time to process things.

Nice one... thanks... just was I was looking for - I did not know this trick.

Latest couple of movies has been getting foreign posters by default. I'm going into Metadata/Fanart options to delete the foreign posters, leaving the first poster as my preferred.

Until I knew this trick (or deleting the cache which is a pain for one movie only), the foreign poster remained.

Also deleting all and recaching you need to restart to show changed images if they are already cached. Just the extender/client not the server. They are not cleared from cache when deleting all so it isn't instant likes manually deleting one from the ui sections is.
