Java safe to use list

It seems every time a new update to Java comes out, that I spend a bit of nervous time scanning the boards for potential conflicts. Most of the time it's a no-brainer. But occasionally things get bad. So I thought I would start this thread and let those who have experience jump in and share results as a warning or confirmation to others.

So here goes. I'm installing Java 6 update 24.

And right off the bat, the Java installer advertises V6.U25 yet the control panel shows V6.U22 is what was installed (when I checked to remove prior versions). So far no hiccups with Sage operations though.
