Diamond on SageTV demo

So I am really wanting to grab sageTV for a htpc or 2 and maybe even replace my HTPC's with the HD theaters for portability/ease of use for others.
I tried to install Diamond on the demo version of sage and it would not give me the option, is it possible to try it? I do not want sageTV unless I know I like the Diamond Plugin.

It looks similar to Media browser (for Windows Media center) or Media portal for windows.. But I can not find a good video demo of how it looks/works with a mix of Movies and TV shows on my server (mostly MKV some AVI). I am looking to see if I can go to like...movies//it shows all movies, art and meta data OR TV and it will show all of the TV series I have on my server (not recorded in sage) so TV/Series/Season/list of all episodes.

I think you can do all (or most ) of what you are looking to do with the help of BMT and Diamond UI mod.

You will have to be running the demo of the 7.1.2 "beta" to use Diamond 3.1 and test it out. You should also have BMT installed to scrape all the fanart and metadata for your archived TV and your movie collection.

That being said we will be releasing Diamond 3.2 probably tomorrow if all goes well and then you will need to be using at least 7.1.5 so you might want to wait.

Are your TV shows showing mixed in with movies in the Diamond Movie views?

Have you installed BMT and got it to scan your collection for metadata and fanart? You will need to have metadata for your archived TV/Movies so that Diamond can filter into the correct views.
